Infinity Behavioral is currently seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This position requires the clinician to conduct interviews with clients and their families and coordinates:


  • Plans programs and activities to meet their social and emotional needs.

  • Provides psychotherapy or counseling to individuals, groups, couples, or families

  • Requires a master's degree in social work, 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area, and a state license to practice clinical social work.

  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

  • Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to the head of a unit/department.

  • Nurse Practitioner Outpatient Mental Health (PMH-APRN)

Salary: $65/hr

Infinity Behavioral Systems is a start-up outpatient mental health agency in search of a PMH-APRN to commit approximately 15 hours per month to begin and as the agency grows, consider additional hours. The job description and requirements are as follows:

  • Assess and evaluate adults/adolescents/children experiencing symptoms of a behavioral

  • health disorder.

  • Analyze and evaluate patient data/information and test or examine findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health disorder(s).

  • Prescribe, and/or direct psychotherapeutic treatments or medication to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.

  • Collaborate with physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, nurses, or other professionals to discuss service plans and progress.

  • Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained via self-report, relatives, and other professionals.

  • Counsel patients during appointments as necessary.

  • Design/participate in the development of individualized service plans, using a variety of treatments.

  • Examine or order laboratory or diagnostic tests for patients to provide information on general physical condition and mental disorder.

  • Advise and inform guardians, relatives, and significant others of patient’s conditions and treatment when clinically appropriate.

  • Review and evaluate treatment procedures and outcomes of other psychiatrists and medical professionals.

  • Prepare and submit assessments, progress notes, reports and summaries to entities/agencies as required by organization where placed.

  • Perform direct services/consultations via telephone in the event that telepsychiatry equipment is temporarily inoperable.

  • Return calls and emails promptly (within 24 hours of receipt or sooner if clinically necessary).

  • Follow the chain of command at the organization where placed (e.g. clinical issues should be brought to the attention of the placement organization’s medical director etc.)

  • Abide by the policies and procedures of the organization where placed.

Required Credentials

  • Graduation from a state certified advance practice program specializing in a psychiatry/mental health;

  • ANCC certification in one of the following areas:

  • Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • Family Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

  • Adult Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist

  • Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist

  • An unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN)

  • An unrestricted DEA registration in each state where direct services will be provided;

  • A state-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) in each state where direct services will be provided (if required by state);

  • Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) in each state where direct services will be provided (if required by state);

  • No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP);

  • Professional liability insurance – with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.


  • 1 year providing direct patient care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders is preferred.
